Do you like being creative and appreciating and buying beautiful hand-crafted items?Do you have a passion for supporting your local community?If you do, then venture down to MerseyMade where you can do all of these things.MerseyMade is my dream brought to life, which is a creative hub with a shop, café, 10 artists studios and an events space, based in Liverpool City Centre.We want local creatives and artists to be able to showcase and sell their work locally and with as few barriers as possible. Through MerseyMade you can support neighbouring businesses, safeguard people’s livelihoods and help build your local economy back up, which is now more important than ever.Our shop is a sales outlet for products made by over 100 of our best artists and makers in our region, all based within a 50-mile radius of our shop, where we sell a large selection of items, from paintings and prints to jewellery, jam, honey and gin.In our 10 artists’ studios, you can meet our artists and makers who work here on the premises throughout the week. They are all happy to show you their work and give you a bit more of an insight into their processes and and even a commission a piece.We also have an event room which can be used by businesses looking for a meeting space, where we can provide presentation equipment and refreshments for all.Or you can come here and take part in a workshop, where you can start or extend your own creative journey, the ‘MerseyMade way.’Then finally, we also have our Gordon Smith café, a welcoming and relaxed space offering hearty, comforting plates, and varied cakes, all made fresh in-house for you to enjoy. To fit in with our concept, we have tried where possible to support local producers and independent suppliers for the cafe and the kitchen.
