Bringing global credit risk management knowledge and expertise to the Republic of South Africa (“RSA”) market to provide value and confidence that the decisions being made on their customers are in line with leading global practice and are profitable decisions.- Aligned to (and located in) the South African market to consult to credit lending organisations in RSA to consumer and business lenders in Retail Banking, Telecommunications, Retail Credit, Financial Services, B2B lenders across the credit lifecycle stages by:- Leading Business Reviews to benchmark a credit organisation’s processes, strategies, analytics, tools, MIS against leading practices in credit acquisition, customer management and collections & recoveries- Providing initiatives to RSA credit lenders to strengthen their credit risk management capabilities by recommending improvements for the implementation of quick wins and strategic developments- Creating a collaborative roadmap to prioritise and plan the initiative implementation- Helping the client with their business cases for investment by generating Return on Investment models to prove the value to the organisation.- Designing and implementing strategies with RSA credit lenders to achieve their strategic business goals and conform with regulatory compliance for responsible lending.- Presenting at external conferences on credit risk, marketing and collections topics.- Providing knowledge and market development to the RSA market through presentations, white papers, webinars, articles and internally within Experian by training and mentoring to develop experience and expertise within the local market.

- Responsible for driving the growth of customer management and strategic collections revenues across vertical sectors in collaboration with the regional sales organisations across the globe- Presenting solutions as part of pre-sales engagement with strategic clients;- Positioning the value and profitability drivers to senior clients / decision makers within strategic clients (Singapore, Central Europe, The Netherlands, UK&I) to Credit Risk, Collections and IT.- Leading design workshops for Retail and SME Banking clients across various markets (Russia, Turkey, UK&I, South Africa); - Presenting the value proposition confidently to the client - Gathering client’s requirements and solution design- Providing solutions to complex requirements and business structures- Defining and documenting Business Requirements and Functional Specifications- Supporting the build/delivery through to implementation to production.- Experience of working inside a client’s organisation for three months (Standard Bank Africa) and understanding a client’s structure and obstacles they faced- Working with regional teams to provide knowledge transfer of value based propositions to help build the sales pipeline and provide BDM’s / BDC’s with knowledge to identify opportunities and tools to support them in the sale- Driving the global product strategy for Experian’s Customer Management solutions; by gathering and evaluating business requirements from external customers to feed into the product roadmap- Key contributor to external and internal events and conferences- Creation of global sales propositions and solutions for existing and new vertical sectors to extend coverage and open up new markets

- Successfully managed the Lloyds TSB Banking Group account across Credit Bureau Services and Decision Analytics.- Closed sales for software, data, analytics and consultancy across all areas of the credit lifecycle; Mortgage Loan Origination solution, Debt Management services, Analytics, Authentication and Fraud solutions- Personally nominated for an internal award by Lloyds TSB for best supplier relationship in 2007- Nominated for an internal Sales Elite award in 2008- Managed the relationship with various areas of the business; Credit Risk, Operations, Marketing, IT and Procurement and achieved sales via a consultative approach- Regularly chaired strategic meetings and engages with Directors and Executive across the client base.- Presenting solutions confidently to Heads of Functions and technical users- Strong negotiation skills from drafting contracts, negotiating terms and finalising contracts with Lloyds TSB Group Procurement and Legal- Advocate and user of Miller Heiman LAMP and Strategic Selling techniques to establish effective and focussed teamwork
