App Coordinator
CurrentWorking on AppMachine and most recently a bespoke App platform “Lima”, main duties are the build and maintenance of Ashburton, Selwyn & Timaru App’s. Working closely with the App developers in Wanaka and Auckland to deliver community focused News App’s.Proficient in Microsoft Office & Adobe Suite as well as media-based CRM system “Synergy” & Editorial software “Roxen”. Having sole responsibility for the App’s I was the central point of communication for the App’s. Managing three part time administrators I organised their workload and dealt with the Journalists and Sales team. I also worked with the accounts team resolving accounts queries around placed adverts. During my time with the Ashburton Guardian I have gradually developed my customer service & sales skills. Dealing with Customers who advertise on the App’s I take their instructions on design requirements, consult with the in house Graphic designers to ensure the work is completed accurately. I then check all work with the customers before uploading to the App. Over the last 3 months I have been to meet with customers to discuss their advertising and resign their 12 month agreements, I also liaise directly with key stakeholders in the App’s such as the Timaru, Selwyn & Ashburton District Councils, Sport South Canterbury, Aoraki Development and many charities that we feature on the App’s.
