I worked as the Studio Manager for Monsoon Accessorize within their new in-house photography studio. I was hired to help set up the new in-house studio covering all areas from ordering the photographic equipment, hiring the in-house studio team, and creating new processes for how the studio would work and run within Monsoon's Head office in London.Once the studio was successfully set up and running, my daily duties included budget management, scheduling (shoots for in-house and concessions), booking models/ freelancers, QA and uploading images.Another key responsibility was to develop the look and feel of both brand. I have guided the transition from models being unrecognisable to recognisable which has changed the websites dramatically. The images have developed creatively as well as becoming more customer focused; it is always about given the customer as much information as possible as well as showing the product in the best way.

I worked at Little Red Panda as an Studio Manager/ Senior Photographer. I covered all aspects of the studio from booking in clients, schedules, styling, shooting and retouching. I also booked in freelancers when needed and delegated work to each photographer. LRP is a fashion and still life studio and client’s include Shortlist and Stylist magazine, creative work for Monsoon and Accessorize, Press for Mr Porter, Look Books for River Island, as well as shoot for William and Son, Stone Island, CP and M&S, plus many more. I can shoot a number of different brands in the same day, and can quickly adapt to the different styles, lighting and briefs. It is a fast paced studio but the focus is always on producing high quality work. I strongly believe the goal in any studio should be to produce work you are proud of.

At present I work as a Photographer for I Heart Studios. My shoots range from mannequin, and flats to models and creative shoots, as well as videos. Clients include a wide range of fashion retailers and designers. It is a quick paced environment where I shoot around 120 images a day, as well as coding, uploading and administrative duties. I often work directly with the clients whilst on shoots and can quickly adapt from one brand to another.

I worked at Tapestry, which is a Production Agency, within their photography studio, based in Highgate. The clients included Jacque Vert, Stella McCartney and Charlotte Olympia, plus a number or different advertising agencies, retailers and designers. Shoots range from fashion and beauty, to products and food, and could consist of either mannequin, layout, 360, still life and models; I also filmed catwalks, 360 and short product films for ecommerce. I worked closely with clients to meet briefs and worked in a fast paced environment to meet tight deadlines. I am quick to adapt to different set ups and briefs due to our diverse range of clients. In one day I can shoot food for Waitrose Magazine, a beauty shot for Soap and Glory, Shoes for GStar and Clothes for Urban Outfitters.

I worked as a freelancer for Foto Theme Studios which is a fashion and beauty photographic studio, with clients such as Arcadia Group, Kurt Geiger and Russian Vogue. My responsibilities covered the whole photographic process from the styling, photographing, retouching and cut outs of all images. I worked directly with clients and PR companies and often would supply images within the hour ready for press.

I worked as a freelance assistant for 4 months and have assisted on studio and location shoots, which ranged from a room set up to photographing on the streets of London. My role consists of helping set up the studio and lighting equipment, prepare products and compositions and edit photographs using Capture One. I have assisted a number of products ranging from a collection of footwear for Ellesse, nursery furniture for Kub, a collection of gentlemen’s accessories from T Fox and co to an assortment of cocktails for Bombay Sapphire gin.

I relocated to Dubai to work in the School Division at Stu Williamson Photography. My job entailed travelling to schools and nurseries around Dubai and Abu Dhabi to photograph the children’s individual, class and year photos. I had to shoot consistently, keep an accurate daily shoot record and work to a tight schedule, to make sure we photographed the whole school in the time given. After each shoot I would download and store all the images on to the databases so they could be easily accessed by every department.I also shot events such as corporate functions and celebrations. One event was at the Dubai Polo and Equestrian Club for a company called Dubai Reunited who were holding an event to celebrate the Royal Wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton. The function consisted of 800 guests as well as sponsors such as Mercedes and Pandora. I was there to document the day, as well as capture the atmosphere and celebration. I then had to get the photographs ready for the press and other media sources.

I was employed by the Ship’s Photographer for 18 months and worked my way up to Senior Photographer. My duties as Senior Photographer involved setting up and metering all lighting for myself and the team of photographers, as well as training junior photographers on the crops and exposures for each shoot. I shot all private studio sessions and weddings which took place onboard as well as becoming the Captains official photographer. Whilst with the company I shot portfolios for the entertainment guests such as singers and comedians, as well as advertisements to be used on the P&O website and brochures and videoed for the cruise DVD.Whilst onboard I was promoted to lab manager, where my duties involved uploading all digital images and taking responsibility for quality control. This involved colour balancing, head calibrations and digital retouching.To work on ships you need to be a team player. I have worked with teams as small as 5 and as large as 15 photographers. I have always been a popular member within my teams and have been able to adapt quickly to new ships and working environments.
