Our Mission at KID (Kids in Distress) is to prevent child abuse, preserve the family and treat children who have been abused and neglected. We have a 5 acre campus in Wilton Manors serving the community both onsite and offsite for 35 years. I have volunteered at KID since 2006 in many areas including the Shelter, Aftercare, Preschool, Warehouse along with chaperoning field trips for the kids in the summertime. I am privileged to now work among so many individuals that are enhancing children's lives and helping families in the community.
