Although I have a background in graphic design, I now run Lyonsleaf Republic of Natural Skincare with my husband Ben.Our mission in life is to help our customers understand the workings of their own skin, so they can make informed choices and not be misled by the beauty business hype.From our farm on top of The Mendip Hills in Somerset, we create a range of unique, award winning skincare & beauty products. It’s here that we grow our herbs, without the use of artificial chemicals, and then infuse natural plant oils with their wonderfully beneficial properties.These undiluted, naturally active ingredients are then used to hand-make small batches of what have been described as ‘little pots of wonder’. We have received dozens of 5 star reviewsOur speciality is sensitive skin and we have many customers with skin prone to eczema, psoriasis, dermatitis, rosacea, acne, perioral dermatitis and other chronic skin conditions. Some customers that just want to avoid artificial chemicals and many very loyal customers just love what our products do to their skin.We also grow much of our own vegetables and keep sheep and occasionally pigs and cows. We are striving to live a more sustainable life and utilise the natural resources around us in creative and sustainable ways.
