 Analysis of manufacturing equipment capabilities and outputs. Evaluate new and existing manufacturing processes and operations for improvement including but not limited to Surface Mount Technology, Selective Wave, Hand Soldering, Conformal Coating, and Harness Assembly.  Evaluate company products for quality and manufacturability. Evaluate and interpret project technical drawing packages (TDP’s) for assembly requirements and equipment or manpower needs. Research component and tooling as required. Perform tool, harness board, and fixture design and build as required. Review and apply applicable Mil-Specs and IPC requirements for J-STD, IPC-610, and IPC-WHMA-620. Develop work instructions and flow charts for CCA’s (Circuit Card Assemblies) and Wire/Harness assemblies. Collaborate with Manufacturing Manager on production planning and forecasting. Provide equipment and manufacturing training to the production operators and line managers. Provide project labor, equipment and manufacturing estimations for quotation and budgetary purposes.
