Supervalu is a distribution warehouse for the grocery industry. I am the claims administrator for the Workers’ Compensation claims and assist with all auto/truck accident claims. I process all accident, medical and personal information, for claims authorization, payment of compensation, medical and expense payments. I handle claim litigation issues and prepare information for legal counsel. I am responsible for making sure all compliance deadlines are met and all claims are audit compliant. I handle the Safety Committee meetings and work with employees on Safety issues and administer the safety incentive programs. I also handle all administrative duties for the Risk Manager as required.

Gallagher Bassett is a Third Party Administrator for processing Workers’ Compensation claims for Corporations in Ohio. I process all information required for maintaining Workers’ Comp claim files in Ohio, which includes audits, bill payment and legal matters. Contact injured workers for statements if required and gather injury information for claims authorization or possible denial. I explain the workers’ comp process to them and help them with any issues they may have. I do client visits to view the production process and work with medical and administrative personnel to help with return to work issues and light duty. I work with vendors to provide managed care if necessary and or any additional items that might be required. I also help with claim litigation and process information for legal counsel.

International Truck & Engine Corp. manufactures of semi trucks. I process all information required for maintaining Workers’ Comp claim files in Ohio, which includes audits, bill payment and legal matters. Work with injured workers for statements if required and gather injury information for claims authorization or possible denial. I explain the workers’ comp process to them and help them with any issues they may have. Work with Safety Committee on ergonomic issues and also light duty return to work issues. Prepare for and attend hearings as required. Do all clerical and claim administration duties as required.
