Managing the service workshop, overseeing the operations process for the overhaul of Valves, Actuators and associated equipment, working alongside OEMs and reverse engineering repairs of obsolete equipment, predominantly for the Oil & Gas industry, but also for other Utility companies. Managing and motivating a team of technicians, working on and offshore, and within our workshop. Work scopes including but not limited to refurbishment of valves/actuators, testing & painting, in line sealing, greasing and packing, removal and installation of Valves/Actuators, in line valve releasing, inline overhauls.Project management of service related jobs, allocating human and material resources needed and drafting a timescale for the job, estimating costs and setting the quality standards.Monitoring the operations processes and adjusting schedules as needed.Liaising among different departments, e.g. suppliers, managers and working with managers to implement the company's policies and goals.Ensuring that health and safety guidelines are followedReviewing the performance of team and identifying training needs.Completing quotations and tenders for service and supply.Project managing valve/actuator overhauls during client shutdowns.Expediting supplier orders to meet client deadlines.

Accountable for the management and delivery of critical projects and for providing managerial support for all the projects conducted by the company. Responsible for providing monthly financial and technical updates of any known issues/risks to Senior Manager.Responsible for costing, estimating and planning projects.Preparing Project Initiation documentation.Responsible for ensuring best value is obtained for the project including supplier base, use of internal and external resources.Maintaining and completing Project Key Performance Indicators.Writing detailed and summarized project progress reports.Identifying, costing and processing any contract variations.Tracking activities against the detailed project plans.Updating project plans to include agreed changes.Producing accurate financial reports.Monitoring actual expenditure figures against project budgets.Organising and facilitating Project review meetings.Ensuring that health and safety guidelines are followed.Reviewing the performance of team and identifying training needs.
