A member of the Scottish Cycling senior management team with responsibility for leading and managing the Development function of Scottish Cycling.A key focus on the implementation of the Scottish Cycling strategic plan through partnership working and integrated planning.

Responsible for the management, integrated planning and delivery of all elements of sport competition for the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games.Included management of a large team of sport competition specialists to deliver a world class Sport Competition programme, development of strategic priorities and policies, development and management of strong relationships with International Sport Federation and Scottish/UK Sport Governing Bodies and financial planning and budget management.

Responsible for the operational management of the Scottish team preparations and performance at the Delhi Commonwealth Games 2010 and the Isle of Man Commonwealth Youth Games 2011.

Responsible for setting up and managing all aspects of the Tayside and Fife Institute of Sport, one of a network of 6 Area Institutes which form an integral part of the Scottish Institute of sport network. Key focus on planning, managing and monitoring performance sport programmes for selected athletes, incorporating: coaching, strength and conditioning, sports science, sports medicine and lifestyle management, with a focus on individual athlete development.
