Made redundant due to COVID and currently looking for work.My initial role at Brownsword was to log new claims and handle any incoming calls to the department.After 6 weeks, I was seconded to the Team Leader position (maternity cover), with responsibility for prefixing all incoming work. This involved correct and accurate logging of all new claims, assigning to the correct team, handling incoming calls, emails and other correspondence. Once the secondment period ended, I continued my employment within the technical administration team. Here my duties included:-Ensuring all agents were instructed in the correct time scale and that the correct questions were presented to interviewees.Ensuring files were complete and accurate before they being passed out to the agents. If any omissions were present, I would make the necessary calls to obtain additional information from insurance companies and the police.Responsibility for date and timeline accuracy and follow up management. Applying for police reports and dealing with any police correspondence.Allocating any additional requests from clients to the relevant agent.Appointment of interpreters and ensuring precise co-ordination between agents and interpreters to ensure accuracy and timeliness of statements being taken. Assisting all agents with any queries or further information they may have required.
