In 2017, I spent the summer working on the East Coast of America, directing both British Soccer Camps and specific Female Development Soccer Camps, working on the injury management of young players to avoid future injuries, through prehab education. Over the summer I relocated to a new town every week, moved in with a different host family, travelled across 13 states, liaised new managers, coordinated large scale events alongside coaching my own sessions, and received positive reviews from every location I worked at from the organisation contacts as well as parents and players. This experience has further demonstrated my ability to organise self-sufficiently but also work independently in an unfamiliar environment.

Following my graduation from university I began working in Los Angeles, California as a Professional Soccer Coach, applying an innovative curriculum that develops skills, speed and confidence in players from 2-19 years old, working alone and with a team of international coaches. In addition to teaching new skills and improving game performance, each session provided lessons in character development, cultural education. Tutoring local coaches and assisting with 'try out' evaluations; thereby combining a theoretical framework into a practical environment.

I worked full time in the olympic Village at the Sailing Academy, Portland. Earning a promotion part way through the event to become a supervisor, causing me to manage a group of people much older than me. This role encompassed all aspects of catering for large numbers, meeting the demands of individual dietary requirements of top-level athletes and gave me a great opportunity to meet our Olympians. I also completed specific training prior to working on the Paralympics to ensure that the staff met all of the requirements of athletes. Working at the London 2012 Games allowed me to have direct contact with Olympic and Paralympic athletes further cementing my drive to work within the professional sporting environment.
