Hired by faculty to finalize graduate research report on increasing bike amenities at Sea-Tac airport, commissioned by Port of Seattle. Role involved providing input on facility type recommendations; finalizing report and; generating Photoshop visuals for facility recommendations.

Member of Transit and Mobility division, which develops and manages city-wide mobility policies and programs. Key Achievements: ● Led inter-departmental update of city Transportation Management Program (TMP) policy guidelines (agency Directors Rule);● Developed scope-of-work and data collection/packaging for consultant review of TMP program; ● Managed paper survey component of city's biennial Commute Trip Reduction employer survey;● Researched issues, including for Mayors’ office regarding impacts of potential legislation.

Researched, presented and published a report on opportunities to improve bicycle parking in Seattle. Undertook project at the request of Commute Seattle, to fulfill MPA Capstone project requirement. Project was awarded the Betty Jane Narver award by the Evans School, as the most impactful Capstone (thesis) project of 2015. Project overview: Through interviews with City officials and private sector stakeholders, this research identifies and analyzes: ● Current state of Seattle's policies to create long-term bicycle parking, and compares it to that of other bicycle friendly US Cities;● Developer perspectives and current trends in long-term bicycle parking in Seattle;● Policy options and related considerations that would improve quality, quantity and accessibility to long-term bicycle parking in Seattle. Within the Commute Options group, supported projects to advance the university's efforts to encourage students, staff and faculty to use the most environmentally friendly commute mode possible. in order for the University to meet its transportation and climate goals.

Lead author of a comparative analysis of state-level inter-governmental organizations (interstate commissions) at the request of the Columbia River Gorge Commission (CRGC), and in partnership with the Hatfield School of Government at Portland State University. Conducted desk research, and telephone interviews with leaders of two interstate commissions: the Tahoe Regional Planning Agency and the Chesapeake Bay Commission, for a report to the CRGC on organizational resource needs and trends, and strategic approaches to accomplishing organizational goals within a multi-jurisdictional environment.

Coordinated the work of the council that set countywide land use, transportation, and affordable housing policy and served function of collaborative governance forum. General Duties:● Prepared meeting agendas and informational briefing packets /summaries for regular multi-agency elected board and staff committee meetings. Meeting formats ranged from formal, televised board meetings to informal work sessions; ● Collected, synthesized and presented technical information, including data analysis, verbally and in report and briefing formats;● Organized community events, including public meetings, workshops and seminars;● Facilitated meetings (ranging 5 to 20 attendees), gave formal presentations;● Managed agency communications, including website updates to share formal actions and project progress reports, as well as member emails;● Coordinated meeting schedule setting and related administrative functions. Program-Specific Coordination: ● Transportation Planning & Funding Program: Multi-jurisdictional distribution of federal transportation funding. Funding process involved countywide funding priority policy review/updates, coordinating consensus-based multi-jurisdictional competitive funding process to distribute +$15m per biennium, and collaborating with agency staff for year-round tracking of federally funded projects;● State Legislative Agenda Program, including developing and tracking annual KRCC Legislative Agenda. Worked with Executive Board to identify legislative priorities during each session;● Land Use Planning Program: Supported multi-agency group of Planning Directors to conduct updates of countywide planning policies and planning targets, and collaborate on other shared planning tasks. Multi-disciplinary design and marketing agency with national clients across a range of industry sectors. Managed property developer accounts including boutique market developments and affordable housing developer clients. ● Cultivated constructive client relationships, to ensure both parties’ needs were met;● Effectively communicated design briefs, and ensured on-time, on-budget product delivery;● Supported administrative team in day-to-day business operations.

Oversaw editorial development, advertising sales and production/distribution of bi-lingual magazine focused on local and regional socio-political issues. Magazine was housed within, and partially funded programming for a local non-profit capacity building organization. ● Wrote, commissioned and edited articles;● Coordinated production and distribution;● Managed finances.Key Achievements:● Doubled magazine revenue within first 6 months of work;● Oversaw magazine redesign and rebrand.
