Following the successful implementation of the new finance and manufacturing software at Haycock Holdings I was head hunted into this role to redesign the nominal ledger and all core finance processes in this large major construction business. The large finance department was completely overhauled and I redesigned and implemented new processes and controls. Once the new finance system was embedded I lead a new project to automate procurement ordering (POP) and integrate it into the new finance system thus streamlining a manual ordering system, installing tight controls on purchasing and enabling the Quantity Surveyors to know at the push of a button project commitments and budget reconciliation.

Due to the sale of the going concern Sherry & Haycock to Travis Perkins I transitioned over to the family holdings company to manage the Finance and HR function of the remaining manufacturing business (Total Laminate Systems) and the property holdings owned by the family. During this period I implemented a new finance system, integrating it into the manufacturing processes.

Prior to my promotion to Management Accountant I worked in the credit control department servicing 7 depots and over 3000 debtor accounts across the South West of England.Once promoted to Management Accountant I provided key management information to the Board, General Managers and Banks. I was heavily involved in the sale of the going concern to Travis Perkins before transitioning to the Holding Company.
