With unwavering dedication and a commitment to excellence, I swiftly progressed through various roles, including Controller, SVP Business Development, and Director of Operations. Ultimately, I assumed the esteemed position of President at Axela Management in less than 4 years, where I successfully managed a substantial portfolio of conventional, student housing, commercial, and self-storage assets across the US.Fuelled by my passion for creating thriving communities within the student housing sector, I began Apex Student Living alongside Axela Group and Alexandra Capital. This venture opened up new possibilities, and I developed a vision to establish a prominent presence in the national student housing market. Our strategy involved acquiring both stabilized and value-add assets in burgeoning markets and implementing innovative yet practical solutions at the site level.My diverse experiences across the property management landscape have provided me with a comprehensive understanding of the natural synergy between development/acquisition and operations.
