Welcome to Different Hotels.My role as Sales Manager included account management and contracting for the hotel group's key accounts, as well as prospection (site Inspections, cold calls, exhibitions and partner events), networking and corporate community building. Working very closely with the company's COO/CEO, revenue and marketing department, as well as the group & event coordinators and management team of each hotel to bring a 'different' experience to our guests.

The Gresham Belson Hotel is centrally located in Evere, between Brussels International Airport and the city center. Offering 141 rooms and 5 meeting rooms and managed by the Irish Windward Management Group.As a Sales Executive and later Sales Manager, I was responsible for the daily operations of the sales and marketing as well as events department before and after the hotel renovation process. Responsibilities included account management for key accounts (corporate, leisure, FIT, OTA's), site inspections, contracting and prospection. Handling of group bookings, meeting requests and event coordination of the in-house events. Responsible for GDS (Pegasus/Utell/Nexus (GDS): Targetworx, Shareworx, RFP's, Tradeshows). As well as creating promotions, maintaining social media channels & website. I was working very closely with and assisting the General Manager and Revenue Manager, participating in the daily price setting, budgeting, forecasting.

The Three Corners is a Belgian management and investment company and a big player on the Egyptian hotel market (12 hotels). During my traineeship I assisted the company's CEO and Director of Hotel & Project Development during the take-over and rebranding process of their first two hotels in the city center of Budapest, Hungary (Hotel Art 3*sup and Hotel Bristol 4*) and also analyzed the feasibility of other possible investment projects.Main responsibilities included taking inventory of the entire hotel for take-over, giving input on renovation plans for both hotels, set-up and implementation of standard operating procedures and company policies. Set-up of Hotel Group Sales and Marketing department after take-over (incl. competitor analysis, implementation of sales strategy, price setting, creating templates for contracting, sales strategy plan, promotions, opening and closing of e-channels. Responsible for meeting requests and supervision of in-house meetings. Set-up of financial reporting and discussing revenue strategy with company's CEO.
