Responsible for effectively soliciting and becoming familiar with all Sports, Military, Educational, Religious and Fraternal organizations, both global and local. Also responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with key clients in order to produce business results.*Solicit new and existing accounts to meet/exceed SMERF revenue goals through telephone prospecting, outside sales calls, site inspections and written communication.*Produce revenue through directly soliciting business via aggressive prospecting, making presentations, developing contracts, negotiating and closing sales.*Maximize revenue by selling all facets of the hotel, both orally and in written form to previous, current and potential clients.*Handle account details so that all pertinent aspects of solicitation and closing are complete and documented. • Plan, implement and oversee assigned conventions for sales and conflict resolution• Anticipate group revenues as per established guidelines • Supervise contracted group room blocks for cutoffs and attrition• Assure client satisfaction through convention implementation as measured by event survey data. • Oversee and enforce program deadline rates to release meeting space not necessary for maximizing hotel revenues• Create, Detail, Finalize and Disseminate BEOs for groups and affiliates 10-14 days prior to events• Liaise between field sales person and customer throughout event• Implement guarantee and cut-off policies• Set up meeting rooms and handle sleeping room configurations• Engage in site visits and plan meetings for upcoming group and potential affiliate business

At the Wyndham Glenview Suites, I had the pleasure of working with the sales department to assist in securing business and developing relationships. I was responsible for identifying, researching, and qualifying accounts for sales potential, as well as, detailing events for our customers.
