I researched, designed, and implemented authorization for Google's internal compensation API. I designed and implemented end-to-end features to aid compensation decisions and conversations. I improved our load tests and revamped our SLOs. Across the team's 4 products, I standardized best practices, increased test coverage, and simplified code.

I launched the Partner Portal, the dashboard partners use to view the information they have sent to Reserve With Google. Built using Java and Javascript, the dashboard allows partners to debug issues that arise, thus saving engineering hours. I also worked on the Reserve with Google site in preparation for our beauty launch.

I created a filterable interactive sunburst visualization using HTML/CSS and d3.js to monitor Google Fiber TV app usage. As the lead software engineer working with a team of quantitative analysts, I designed and implemented a FlumeJava pipeline to gather data on the people in Google Fiber cities, which will be used to model take-rate and improve up-selling.

I set up the Yale Computer Science Department’s Cloud Network, which included installing Linux operating systems across thirteen servers and configuring Foreman, Puppet, FreeIPA, OpenVPN, Bacula, and other cloud management software.

I managed 2 butteries, each open 6 days a week, 3 hours each night. I supervised 20 workers. I created flyers, menus, weekly specials, uniforms, and memory wall.

I was responsible for 34 international students living in my entryway. I hosted weekly study breaks, planned 3 major events for summer session students, and designed flyers for publicity using Canva.

I researched state-level Ban the Box legislation, Second Chance legislation, and Alcohol Excise Tax in several states (CA, CO, FL, MN, NJ, NY, NC, OH, PA, VA, WI) and Washington D.C. I contacted various legislative offices across the country to produce a comprehensive report on these subjects. I promoted Over the Edge, a rappelling fundraiser for NYRF.
