A strategic marketing communicator with almost 20 years' experience working for a wide range of companies and organisations, providing strategic communications, marketing and PR support.Having run marketing and communications teams, not only do I have experience in senior level management, I also am used to working at all levels in an organisation, right up to supporting Board. You will always get a friendly yet professional approach from me, and I pride myself on managing expectations realistically. I have worked in a variety of settings - in house for Public Sector and NHS, and also in agencies, working with a variety of corporate clients spanning a wide range of sectors including private healthcare, commercial property, education, dental, home decor, data logging, beauty to name a few. Regardless of the industry, I feel I have a real skill in asking the right questions to gain the intelligence I need to advise of the right marketing direction strategically. I am a specialist in marketing comms strategy - blending together the right combination of brand, marketing, comms, engagement, PR, digital and web tools to achieve business goals. And as I am used to working with SME's and public sector, I can work well within a tight budget to maximise output. As well as consultancy, I also execute strategies using the wide range of skills i've acquired. These include branding (creation, brand guidelines, regulation and evolution), advertising (including some digital experience), promotional literature, website development and marketing (I have worked with both Shopify and Wordpress platforms), communication and engagement strategies (including consultations), PR and press relations, social, content planning and creation, design (I often do this in house as well as working with designers where required), print management and copywriting. I have a flexible style and have a particular skill in adapting my writing to the right tone and style. So, that's a little about me!
