Vic has served the Tulsa Police Department for over 21 years. During his career, he has worked in patrol, Gang unit, Fugitive Warrants unit, Homicide and was a ten year member of the Tulsa Police Departments SWAT team. Vic was later promoted to the rank of Sergeant and has supervised Patrol units at the Gilcrease and Riverside Divisions. He also served has the supervisor of the evening shift Special Investigations Gang unit. Vic was elected Tulsa County Sheriff in a special election in April, 2016. When Vic and Jennifer moved to Tulsa, Vic began his career as a Tulsa Police Officer and Jennifer became a teacher in Prue, OK and later Berryhill Elementary where she continues to teach today, twenty years later. Vic and Jennifer are the parents of three daughters. The oldest Victoria is a sophomore at the University of Central Oklahoma.Isabella, the second oldest, is a high school student at Charles Page High school in Sand Springs and the youngest Sophia is a sixth grader at Berryhill Elementary school. In addition to his duties as the Tulsa County Sheriff, Vic is a proud Berryhill resident and is active in the community as his girls’ basketball coach and a former coach for Little Chiefs Football.
