The Cooperation and Decentralization Program aims to make knowledge accessible. Collaborating with volunteer communities and civil society organizations, it identifies content gaps and incorporates diverse voices and perspectives to ensure the equal inclusion and representation of all identities in Wikimedia projects.Focus Areas:- Gender, Diversity, and Identities on the Internet: We design initiatives to bridge the gender gap and increase the representation of women and the LGBTQ+ community in Wikimedia and Internet projects- Local Content and Digital Activism: We develop initiatives to create socially relevant content and enhance the representation of historically underrepresented groups from a Global South perspective- Community Building: We empower new communities within Wikimedia projectsKey Responsibilities:- Planning, implementation, budget management, reporting, and program evaluation- Regional and global partnerships coordination- Extensive experience developing campaigns and thematic activities (primarily gender equity campaigns), edit-a-thons, resource creation, and workshops- Submission of projects for financing fundingSelected Projects Led (along with others):- Gender Campaigns: ¡Alto!
