    My role is to look after an existing portfolio of RBS/Lombard Large Corporate relationships, (companies with T/O of £75M plus).I am responsible for all aspects of the Lombard interaction with the client portfolio both existing & those introduced by Lombard’s new business Origination Team. The most rewarding element is identifying, developing and completion of funding opportunities. These opportunities can range from simple transactions based upon standard documentation with a solid counterparty; to more complex structures requiring liaison with internal and external business partners. I have on-boarded new relationships, re-activated dormant connections & been instrumental in expanding the types of funding lines into existing clients. I managed the completion of deals ranging from a few thousand to several million pounds using both Debt and Lease products, peripheral documentation and security tools.Once a client has Lombard facilities I manage the annual governance; this includes but is not limited to ensuring a suitable submission is made to Lombard Credit at the appropriate intervals, KYC & KYB compliance is correct and up to date. I maintain an holistic approach to my relationships meaning I see it as my responsibility to ensure all aspects of Lombard’s interaction with a client are conducted to a high standard & the counterparty has confidence that they are receiving the best possible support from Lombard. I have to exhibit many skills including: an ability to prioritise, manage my time on an on-going basis; protect Lombard’s investment whilst building confidence that I have the clients’ interest at heart; an ability to interact with a variety of client contacts up to and including members of Plc SMT’s; be creative in the nurturing of opportunities and resolution of issues; present a confident and consistent message; take ownership of situations; present, articulate, negotiate and sell my thoughts and ideas to both internal and external stakeholders.

E.g. I worked with a materials handling Vendor in managing their 450 truck portfolio with a major UK DIY retalierThe role also required the indirect management of Sales Support and the Internal Sales personnel.During my tenure the business grew from £24M to £90M from the same client base.
