About Victor Cook

I have been involved with electronic technology since running the film projectors in Harvey auditorium at Bakersfield high school in 1958. I was trained by the US Air Force to maintain missle guidance systems at an air base in Germany. That was a great experience. NCR Corporation trained me in the operation and maintenance of their computer systems during the 12 years that I worked there. Armed with this knowledge and experience, my wife Donna and I started our company - Cook's Computer Maintenance and Engineering in 1978. We have seen the advent of the 300 baud modem, the IBM PC, the Vector Electronic Word Processor, the Mobile Car Phone ($2000.00), the HP Laser Printer, the Internet and Web Sites.... It has been a fun ride. Our goal now is to help our Clients move into the Cloud Computing workplace and whatever new business tech comes down the pike.
