I represent Region 6 of the California Democratic Party that includes Assembly Districts 9, 13, 16, and 22, which covers the eastern portion of Alameda & Contra Costa counties and the Northern San Joaquin Valley.

● Oversaw the paid field program for the South Bay Labor Council (SBLC) to support their endorsed candidates for the San Jose City Council, Santa Clara Board of Supervisor, and California State Senate in 2022 and 2024.● Manage two teams of twenty to thirty-five organizers total and one to three team leads, in coordination with the SBLC volunteer program to utilize door-to-door and phone bank relational organizing tactics to engage voters.● Provide daily reports of our outreach efforts to the South Bay Labor Council to ensure they have up to date information for their metrics. Our field program was directly responsible for over 75,000 unique contacts with voters in the past two election cycles leading to a majority of endorsed candidates winning their elections.

● Worked as an auxiliary organization for the Santa Clara County Community Health & Business Engagement Team (CHBET) to inform and encourage residents about best practices to protect themselves and prevent the spread of COVID-19 in East San Jose and South County.● Managed a team ranging between sixteen to thirty organizers that utilize door-to-door relational organizing tactics to engage community members in neighborhoods hardest impacted by COVID-19 to engage and educate them on relief resources and programs provided by the county, while encouraging residents to sign up for COVID-19 vaccinations at the various vaccination sites throughout Santa Clara County.● Provided daily reports of our outreach efforts to the Santa Clara County Public Health Department to ensure they have up to date information for their metrics. Our organization is directly responsible for over 8,000 inoculations, helping contribute to the county’s 80%+ vaccination rate and distributing over 4,000 at-home covid test kits to residents.

● Provided coalition and outreach consulting services among Democratic Party delegates, specifically tasked with those that reside in the Central Valley, Sierra-Foothills, and greater San Diego area, but would cover other areas of the State when asked by my supervisor. Our work led to us blocking the California Democratic Party (CADEM) from endorsing Yes on Proposition 26 at the CADEM Summer Executive Board meeting.● Organized several County Democratic Parties, Democratic clubs, and elected officials to take official stances against Proposition 26 with Resolutions and Letters to the Editor of their local news publications.● Work helped contribute to the 67% defeat of Proposition 26 for the California General Election on November 8th 2022.

● Work involved collaboration with my assigned Area Director, local party leaders, activists, over twenty local candidates, and partner organizations to plan and implement a countywide, year round field program, to hit our ambitious goals for voter contact, community engagement, and supervise a youth fellowship program across Stanislaus County.● Coordinate local electoral efforts through ongoing planning, with in person and digital organizing trainings and capacity building, especially in the areas of volunteer recruitment and management, direct voter contact, using data and technological tools to support field efforts, setting up tracking systems, and coalition building.● Set up and managed all program logistics from setting up an office, compliance call system to run consistent in person and remote phone banks and precinct walks to support the local Democratic candidates for local, state, and federal offices in Stanislaus County. I would supervise and conduct tech support for partner and local Democratic club meetings through our office and via our zoom account.● Timely managed daily input of data while providing regular written, verbal, online, and daily check-in meetings or calls each day with my assigned Area Director.● Utilization of digital programs including but not limited to PDI, NGP VAN, ActionNetwork, Mobilize, Spoke SMS, GMass, Instagram, and Facebook throughout the election cycle.

● Work involved coordination with our Campaign Manager and consultant our campaign strategy to target the voter base of 130,000 voters in the city of Modesto and Stanislaus County.● Organized a volunteer base of over twenty-five supporters through Stanislaus County to engage California Democratic Party delegates to ensure the party nomination and begin development of a direct voter contact program in Stanislaus County.

Young People For (YP4) is a national long-term leadership development program for college-aged folks, that aims to identify, engage, and empower young people who are historically left out of the leadership development pipeline to take action in their community. The Young People For (YP4) Fellowship is a yearlong leadership development program for young people committed to creating positive social change in their communities. Fellows and Alumni create Blueprints for some of the most game-changing social justice work in the nation.

● Work involved coordination with our Central Valley Director to develop and implement the campaign strategy and tactics to engage the voter base of 100,000 voters in the city and county of Merced for the General Election.● Would provide assistance to counterpart coordinators in Stanislaus and Fresno counties when necessary and organized a twelve stop listening tour across four counties.● Conducted interviews, hired, and managed a ten person canvass team and organized a volunteer base of over 40 supporters throughout Merced County to engage voters through direct contact via canvassing, phone calls, attending local events, and hosting house meetings.

● Work involved presenting to local high schools throughout Stanislaus County to encourage students to participate in civic engagement projects in their community, pre-register or register them to vote, as well as recruiting to join our youth civic engagement program.● In collaboration with our Stanislaus Regional Coordinator, we conducted voter registration efforts that led to 1,500 new registered voters prior to the midterm election.● Attend community events and partner meetings to advertise know your rights and immigration clinics provided by Mi Familia Vota to the community at large.

● Coordinate and implement detailed campaign strategy to target a voter population of 50,000 for the primary election while using NationBuilder data software to create walk/call lists.● Organized a volunteer base of thirty-five supporters to engage direct voter contact through canvassing, phone calls, and attending local events.● Assist candidate at campaign events and community publicity events, including fundraisers and candidate forums.

● Built and grew constituent support base for one Congressional, two State Assembly, and one City Council campaigns through canvassing, phone banking, and utilizing data collection software.● Recruit and train volunteers, staff members on the essential elements of grassroots organizing through political campaigns.

The Organizing & Leadership Academy (TOLA) is a rigorous “hands-on” training program for individuals interested and motivated to pursue a career in organizing. The fellowship includes classroom instruction, significant reading & reflective writing, and being challenged by experienced organizers, community leaders, elected officials, and business leaders while working on real organizing projects for the local community.We conducted a health education campaign on diabetes and the correlation between sugary sweetened beverages that resulted in 6,800 surveys collected from Stockton residents. We organized a culmination event on Dia De Los Muertos, that included a silent march of over 100 Stockton residents and supporters of our campaign, to honor those that have passed from diabetes and other health risks related to excessive sugar consumption. We also presented our surveys/findings to the Stockton City Council and led the ground work for a health impact fee on soda distributors to be utilized for additional funding for local health programs and services.- https://tolacademy.org/

Implemented a petition drive on the overuse of antibiotics in factory farms in Marin, Contra Costa, and Alameda counties in the San Francisco Bay Area. We successfully convinced McDonald's and Subway to discontinue using meat from antibiotic-heavy farms, increased the membership size for the California Public Interest Research Group, and collected one-time or monthly donations for the organization.

Built and grew constituent support in California Congressional District 10 through canvassing, phone banking, and utilizing data collection software to track voting trends. Assisted in recruiting and training volunteers on grassroots organizing and speaking to voters about our candidate, Michael Eggman.

Student Ambassadors were educated on the the disparity of community college students lacking college preparedness for English and Mathematics, wherein a vast need for them to enroll in remedial courses and hindering their pathway to graduate on time. We were trained legislative advocacy tactics and lobbied elected officials to increase state funding for accelerated remedial course programs for the 2.3 million students throughout the California Community College system.
