Elements of work involve ground investigation, soil and water testing, core drilling across different ground stratigraphic formations retrieving core log samples for laboratory testing. Set up 150 rooms modular office building and coordinate utilities connection to the building.Duties and responsibilities:Plan, schedule, and coordinate the project strategy and design, reporting progress to the client.Assess design, estimate labour, tools, and materials, integrating into programme and budget.Prepare weekly budgets, cost estimates, preparing negotiating table with client.Managing the construction process, supervising all activity on site, responding to delays.Collaborate with designers to resolve design issues.Facilitate construction activities according to schedule ensuring compliance with client Specification. Produce work package plan (Method Statement), task brief, and work programme review and evaluate risk.Collaborate with the QA/QC to conduct site inspections in line with approved test plans(ITP).Order plant and materials, manage their use and the personnel involved.Comply with legal requirements, health, and safety, keep daily logs and diaries.Enforce safety procedures, minimising risk, ensuring compliance.Review Design and prepare STQ for approval. Raise NCR, assist in resolution.Prepare all necessary permits before work commences.Maintain daily management of employees, engineers, and sub-contractors, update work programme and as-built work programme, ensure work remain on schedule.Ensure contractor compliance with procedures, drawings, project specifications and HSE requirements.Monitor construction progress, updating records daily, attending management and sub-contractor’ planning meetings, reporting on work progress.
