• Over twenty years petrochemical/refinery and related industries experience in process piping, project engineering and design layout, covering every phase of the project starting with plot plans, equipment location planning, layouts, general assembly drawings and detail isometric drawings for field erection.• Strong supervisory and leadership skills and multi-tasking capabilities. Develop work plans, budgets, and schedules for basic designer tasks working as a Lead in designated discipline.• Monitor all work for compliance to project standards, applicable codes, contract requirements, discipline standards, quality standards and accepted engineering and construction practices.• Validate designer calculations, graphic representations, property utilization classification, bill of materials, and engineering specification details. • Experience in the design and drafting of piping, structural and mechanical systems related to power plants, LNG, pulp and paper industry and offshore platforms using AutoCAD, PDS and MicroStation. • Working knowledge of Pharmaceuticals and Food Processing industry including filtration, clean room piping and cryogenic piping. • Extensive field experience while working on numerous petro-chemical facilities.• Experience with Industry standards and codes including but not limited to ASME, ANSI, OSHA, API, ISO• Fifteen years heavy PDS experience, twelve years AutoCAD, Micro station, five years Pro-pipe, Rebis, Cad pipe, PDMS, SP3D and a host of other general office software. • For the last ten years have been using my layout design experience, managerial, problem solving and decision-making skills to lead cross-functional teams including stakeholders, vendors, suppliers and internal business units to ensure successful project outcomes.
