I graduated from Mississippi State University in 2014 with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. Since then, I have worked in many different areas–from the manufacturing lines of Howard Industries in Laurel, Mississippi, to managing and supervising various projects as an engineer at Checkers Safety Group in Moselle, Mississippi. Hands-on tasks are my specialty and what I truly enjoy. However, I am energetic and excited about learning new things and conquering any new challenges in my field. I’m currently a forklift operator at a Food and Beverage faculty known as Wis-Pak located in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. I have been in this position since September of 2019. Before this job, I have worked in various manufacturing environments. I’ve went from being employed as a supervisor with Howard Industries, to CNC machinist for Hol-Mac Corporation in Bay Springs, Mississippi, as well as working the poultry lines of Sanderson Farms Inc as a floor-hand. I’m always open to new opportunities and challenges in my career. The drive of always willing and wanting to learn and achieve more is what motivates me to keep striving within the manufacturing world.
