Scientific leader, innovator, and storyteller. I lead a world-class team of computational biologists to discover new drugs for neurodegenerative diseases, including ALS and Parkinson's Disease. My work combines a wide range of methods: genomics, computer science, systems biology, molecular biology, and supercomputing.I'm trained as a computer scientist, and have spent most of my career embedded with molecular and cell biologists. I have twenty years experience as a full-stack software engineering with a wide range of programming languages.
