• As an Area Manager, I was responsible for managing the FLOW area of the building. This involved monitoring inbound and outbound vehicle movements to ensure that headcount deployment was optimal to deliver the customer promise. I was also in charge of supervising the flow of parcels through the automated conveyances to ensure that mechanical issues and blockages were kept to a minimum. In addition, I liaised with site engineering to keep machine downtime to a minimum. • Monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) and providing deep dive analytics on areas such as parcel recirculation across the building were also part of my responsibilities. Through my efforts, I was able to identify areas for improvement and implement changes that increased efficiency and reduced errors. • One of my biggest achievements was supporting the successful launch of the first AR-Sort Centre building in the UK. This was a challenging project that required a great deal of coordination and collaboration across multiple teams. I was proud to have played a key role in ensuring that the launch was a success, and that the building was able to meet the needs of our customers. • Overall, my experience managing the FLOW area, supervising parcel conveyance, and monitoring KPIs has given me a strong foundation in warehouse management.
