I am a highly accomplished and qualified aviation maintenance operations leader with extensive experience in both military and private industry environments ensuring advanced aircrafts and support equipment operate at peak proficiency and meet the highest safety standards. My credentials include Level 2 certification as a Nondestructive Tester as well as Aviation Maintenance Technician Certification with Airframe & Powerplant License. Much of my career has been spent as a proud member of the Puerto Rico Air National Guard, where I recently completed my career as a Nondestructive Inspection (NDI) Craftsman (Section Chief) in June of 2018. I was the operational lead for the NDI Testing Laboratory and support facilities with direct supervision over a skilled team. I also served as a NDI Air Advisor for the Afghanistan Air Force during a deployment in 2014 helping to train their personnel on NDI best techniques and procedures. Over the course of my time in the Guard, I was recognized for outstanding contributions at different point, receiving honors such as Air Force Commendation and Achievement Medals, the Afghanistan Campaign Medal, the Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, and the National Defense Service Medal among others. From 2012 to 2016, I was initially the Maintenance Base Manager for Cape Air before being promoted to Maintenance Regional Director overseeing the two Maintenance Base Managers for Florida and Caribbean operations. Overall, I ensured peak operation for a fleet of over 30 aircraft such as Cessna 402C, Cessna 208 amphibious, and Britten Normand models.
