Overseeing daily operations at a Import/Export and Distribution Company (to Cable and Piping Industry). Involved in extensive travel meeting customers and suppliers.The role included following up on orders, overseeing customer technical requirements, taking care of inventory, overseeing accounts, preparing costings, dealing and negotiating with suppliers, meeting with customers, liaising with directors, etc. Highlight of this role, it has given me an opportunity to learn the ins and outs of all the different business units in a company i.e. sales, procurement, accounting, logistics and warehousing.

Technical Role in a Import/Export and Distribution Business related to the Cable Industry and to a smaller extent Piping Industry. Supporting the Sales Team with technical support in Cable Related business, overseeing Inventory Control.Meeting and dealing with customers on technical questions and queries. Dealing with suppliers on new requirements and specifications.Visiting suppliers within Asia and sometimes Europe and also linking with suppliers at Trade Fair in Dusseldorf and Shanghai.Highlight of this role is expanding horizon and learning new task and roles outside of Production, meeting customers and suppliers directly and technically supporting them.

In charge of the Production Team overseeing the production of optical fibres and optical fibre cables. Ensuring Production targets are met, reduction of wastage and increasing efficiency of production process. Overseeing production as well as covering maintenance and planning as well as inventory control.Highlight of this role was expanding the Production capacity of the Plant through careful planning and process improvements.

Part of the Production Team overseeing the production of optical fibre and optical fibre cables. Focus on Process Improvements, Yield Increases and Wastage Reduction.Highlight of this role was reduction of production wastage below 3% of Production.
