1. Work within Insurance Core System to deliver proactive database performance tuning scheme and production issue support to maximize performance and stability. The CPU workload has dropped 20 percent in 4 months and running stable during sales activity. 2. Routine inspection on database system for potential performance issue, eliminated a several sets of locking and I/O issue.3. Provide high quality database solution for Core System refactoring project, including system decoupling, database migration with OGG in minimized downtime, database modeling review on new projects etc.4. Form database administration and SQL developing standards, enforce these in application developing level. 5. Deliver database basic knowledge and performance tuning training for junior engineers.

1. Responsible for production Oracle/Mysql database troubleshooting from each business unit and provide root cause analysis/workaround/solutions.2. Responsible for database performance tuning, wait events analysis, find out culprit SQLs, provide database/SQL tuning scheme.3. Maintain internal testing/developing database environment.4. Maintain client's Goldengate replication system, deal with lag incident and keep it function normally.5. Responsible for Oracle Data Warehouse environment deployment, troubleshooting support for client side deployment and ETL job issue.6.
