Victor, a lawyer turned businessman, has always had a burning desire for business. From his years at Wits University, he has always had ambitions to enter the corporate world and render his contribution towards black economic empowerment. After entering the legal profession as a Candidate Attorney and later as a qualified Attorney some 15 years ago, he started serving as a director in various boards of companies.During that process, he started by founding his own law company, Mathye Attorneys Inc, in 2011. After that, and over the years, he has been appointed to serve in boards of several companies in different capacities, amongst others, being a chairman of Tiko-Reru Africa group, Chairman of T & R Life, Managing Director of Mount Dzonga Investments, Executive Director of ABC Holdings, Director of Vichef Mining & Explorations, CEO of NN Construction & Project Managers, Non-Executive Director of Tirhelo Risk and Non-Executive Director of Tikoreru Farms.Having served in various capacities in different entities, he gained exposure and experience within the following sectors: Legal, Risk and compliance, Finance and Insurance intermediation, Mineral and Agricultural Commodity markets and pricing, Imports and Exports logistics and markets, Agro-processing, Mineral exploration and beneficiation, Electrical energy installations and maintenance etc. Through his investment holding company, Tiko-reru Africa Group, he owns stakes and interests in various companies within the sectors mentioned above. Mr. Mathye has travelled a number of African countries doing business and networking. He has had thorough exposure to the SADC and East African markets, especially within the mining and agricultural commodities space.
