During this position I was responsible to manage Plant Engineering team and capital projects in time, schedule and in cost. During this position energy and water saving projects won enterprise recognitions and achieve 2 years WO LTA. Major duties:•Management of Plant and Projects Engineering Department.•Budget planning management (Capital & Expense)•Development, execute and control of the 5 Year Future Plan for Plant Engineering and Projects.•Factory Master Plan coordinator.•Active participation in Community of Practice for Global Operational Model in all Mexican Units for Plant Engineering.•Management of Facilities Maintenance (civil, electrical, pneumatic and mechanical jobs).•Responsible to keep updated the Factory Specification Document.•Administration of Capital investment projects. (Define, Plan, Execute, Control, Close.•Responsible to identify and keep in control Capital goods for UN investment. (Authorization for Disposal AFD’s).• Working with people from culturally diverse backgrounds, mainly form US, India and South America.• Work oriented to give results

Desarrollo de proyectos de capital

This position was to keep in control the structural integrity of the building and the material handling devices through scheduled inspections achieving during a year zero falling down incidents as well as overall review of handing equipment’s.Major duties:• Responsible to coordinate and execute annual Material Handling devices inspections like: Jib and Bridge cranes.• Responsible to perform annual plan to inspect facility structure.• Responsible to fix all issues founded in audits before next audit.• As structural Engineer I create and implement a process for new structural connections as well as the standard for new Material Handling devices to be install.• Weekly communication with general management of key scorecard of issues founded vs repaired as well as budget management.
