 Responsible for releasing gates of PLC after award of project and perform project kickoff meeting to internal team.  Manages project resources through indirect reporting  Responsible for managing overall timing. Responsible to highlight to and coordinate with senior management and the customer if the project is at risk or has red issue.  Coordinates tactical plans and integrates project resources and stakeholders  Overall leader and champion for all project changes.  Responsible to provide and coordinate the technical support to sales for customer quotations and changes.  One face to customer for overall project status with dedicated support from specialist of appropriate groups. Initial contact person until specialist is located and engaged. Maintain overview of project status.  Responsible to provide plant with the necessary information and guidance to insure proper supply chain management for proper management of inventory and for ramp up/down.  Monitor the APQP activities (supplier PPAPs, customer PPAPs, quality ppm 6 months post launch).  Achievement of project(s) and related operating results; delivery on scope, budget and schedule, special assignments.

 Coordinate that all activities meet the dates according elaborated APQP plans and give Customer service after parts are in production.  Review and approve engineering releases for each engineering records of dwgs and documentations.  Facilitate methods, procedures and help of successful of a product or any validation performed by design product engineer.  Manage design product engineer activities.  Coordinate cost reductions ideas within design product engineering area.

 Solve design problems in new products and/or from production line making changes and modifications to the design and maintain the documentation updated in SAP- PLM system  Approve component parts along with SQA with PPAP process not affecting quality performance, making laboratory tests and documents with approvals.  Prepare, coordinate and follow product development plans up according to the customer requirements and the APQP based on ISO-TS 16949.  Prepare DOE (design of experiments) plans at the prototype phase and give support for production parts  Follow design validation plans (DVP & R) up so that parts meet with customer specifications and if something fails, make improvement plans with solving problems techniques such as fishbone diagrams etc.

 Prepare feasibility studies for new products  Coordinate the launch of new products, working in team with different areas involved, optimizing the handling of the resources  Collaborate with the approval process of new products and / or modified (through APQP, PPAP)  Optimize the usage of manufacturing resources, fulfill with the standards quality system. (QS9000, ISO/TS16949)
