Principales missions :- Conduite d'opération de construction ou réhabilitation d'ouvrages de protection contre les inondations et les laves torrentielles dans le cadre de la mise en œuvre d'actions du PAPI ;- Mise en œuvre de la réglementation sur les ouvrages de protection (Décret n°2015-526 relatif au système d'endiguement) ;- Assurer la surveillance et la mise en œuvre d'intervention d'urgence en cas d'évènement (crue, lave torrentielles...) ;- Être le référent technique auprès des services de contrôle (DREAL/DDT) ;- Assurer la veille sur le territoire ; - Assurer la transversalité des interventions internes sur les ouvrages en gestion ;- Informer les élus, assister techniquement les collectivités, usagers et riverains.http://www.riviere-arve.org/

Inside the North directory of EGIS EAU, in river hydraulic, I am in charged of : - Modelling waterway in 1D and 2D on INFOWORKS ICM- Achievement of prevention of flooding risk (PPRI : Plan de prévention des Risques d'Inondations)- Studying Hydraulics infrastructure to protect against floods and (Embankment, slowing down rising water level, etc)- Project of ecology in order to preserve the environment- Maps with Arcgis, ArcMap, ArcCatalog- Some projects : Streaming due to rains / Studying flooding on "Yser river" near Lille (north of France), modelling 200kms in 1D and 2D / ecology of Savoureuse river in Belfort town (all in 2D) / effects of sluice gate and valve in a canal supplying by a swamp

ELMA CONSEIL is an advice engineering corporate in river and urban Hydraulics, situated in Nice. I am in charged to model the river network of a project in Mali with the software Mascaret 1D. At the end, the aim of the hydraulic model is to find a solution to reply to the irrigation issue which is affecting the local population.

My final internship was at Hydroplus (Vinci Construction Grands Projets) before getting my engineering diploma, I am part of the technical team of Hydroplus which is in charge of making all the Hydraulic and stability studies about the fusegates on the dams' spillway. Hydroplus works through the world. Fusegates allow to increase the storage capacity of the reservoir or securing the dams. Fusegates are sized with the return period which is choosen. Each project are different. It depends what the customer want for his dam.
