recently my company has undergone some area structure changes, I previously covered Holidays/Sickness in the South Lakes and Barrow, but since the change my workload mainly surrounds the North West and surrounding areas.

dealing with the general public in the private sector discussing the work the consumer would like carrying out and putting together a labour and materials cost for the job, and if this met their requirements arranging a suitable time and date to start the work. I was also on the contractor list for wyre borough council care and repair department which generated work, mainly continuation of work would be from recomendations or pevious customers having me back to carry out other work.unfortunatly once the recession bit the private sector spending dried up and the business ceased.

my job involved opening and closing the office mainly at weekends which was a key time for the estate agency, duties would involve looking at the diary for any viewings booked in for the weekend, contacting viewers and gaining feedback to vendors, also catching up with customers who had previously made offers on property to update the position of the proposed purchase to the vendor. In the diary for the weekend would also be booked in dates and times for myself to either join a viewer at a property which would be empty/no chain involved or contact a vendor to confirm viewing arrangements made for them for the weekend. Also on occasions viewers from the previous weeks activities would submit an offer on the property that they had previously viewed and would ask for an offer to be open to the vendor for their consideration, I would then enter this into the clients file to be reviewed the following week. Once the recession of 2007 struck the company streamlined its activities into their mainstream which was investment and closed the estate agency .
