Eng. Victor Soledad brings over 25 years of carbon brushes, special carbons, production and plastic injection lines experience to Equipos y Sistemas Hidrocaven CA, as Project manager of water pumps, hydropneumatics systems, sewage plants and filters lines. Eng. Soledad completed his undergraduate studies in Mechanical Engineering at Metropolitana University, and then received his M.S in Real States Appraisal, from Metropolitana University. Prior to Hidrocaven, he was the Industrial Director at Ticino de Venezuela closely interfacing with BTicino (Italy) and Legrand Group (France). Eng. Soledad directed the new polypropylene molding processing unit, and contributed to ERP with MAPICS software Project. His work had a direct impact on the new productions lines made with kaizen and kanban productivity projects. Prior to Ticino de Venezuela, he served as the Technical Manager at Grafitos y Carbones de Venezuela (GCV) interfacing with St. Marys Carbons (USA) with responsibilities for R&D and marketing of industrial and special carbons products. His contributions were in process & equipment development for production lines and pneumatics machines. Prior to GCV, Eng Soledad worked as a Vice Manager at Morganite Lorraine de Venezuela CA, where, for 12 years, he was a key contributor to the development of new work forces and distribution lines program. He was responsible for Carbone Lorraine and Morganite Electrical Carbon’s strategic marketing and corporate business development at Venezuela. He has contributed to the special carbons and carbon brushes technology development and successfully transferred them from R&D to production lines.
