I have designed a100% invisible extended wireless wearable and hearing devices. I have designed test fixtures to help characterize our seals and design custom seals molds, water ingress testing. Also filed for 510(k) and successfully obtained Declaration of Conformity (CE mark). I have 22 Patents in the hearing aids, 8 have been accepted. I am passionate about leading high-performance teams to develop sophisticated technologies into elegant products. I have a specific interest in the convergence of medical devices and consumer products, and an understanding of the growing market needs for effective and well-designed product. My focus on product development, is in particularly high-volume rapid injection mold, electrical, mechanical and RF Bluetooth my skills through different stages in my career, I have lived the entire product development life cycle from concept through manufacturing, full-scale production, and end-of-life, I have passion for each of these areas to enable my approach to product development. The device development consists of:1-High-performance proprietary acoustic seal design, allowing for excellent sound quality with no feedback, designed to eliminate occlusion affect.2-Using low-power integrated circuit in combination with a proprietary replaceable battery to provide continuous operation.3-This is a 100% Invisible; only the customers wearing the device will know they are using a device.4-The design is used as a daily wear, such as showering, sleeping, exercising, and talking on the phone, listen to music.5-Natural Placement, using the ear’s anatomy to direct sound into the ear canal, creating a natural sound quality.References supplied if requested.

Senior Manufacturing Equipment Mechanical DesignerGuidant Corporation, Santa Clara, Ca 1999 - 2004Provided technical assistances and designing from tooling to system product with a project team of engineers that developed an application for drug coating stents. System allows repeatability up to 100% yield in product delivery. Developed and implemented a Q.C. station for a radiation chamber to inspect the level of the radiated source wire. Process developed for manufacturing and pilot build improved yields from 20% to 80%, decreased turnaround time by 75% and reducing floor space by 65%. Redesigned and implemented mandrel loosener head. System used to separate coating from a titanium wire. Prior to redesign, loss of product reached 80%. After redesign, the loss is a minimal 3% producing a cost savings of 3 to 4 million dollars per year. Provided technical and documentation assistance, designing from tooling fixtures to system product development, with engineering project team to develop applications for new laser welding source wire tip with a diameter of .010 inch. Delivered systems and supporting documentation to manufacturing by release date for FDA approval and laser safety. Implemented a redesign of an eight-jaw servo crimper because system down time was 92% and there was 85% difficulty for repeat build and calibration. After redesign, the down time reduced to 5% for maintains only and 2% for difficulty of reassembly and calibration. Designed tooling and documentation for several projects including a fully automated system for laser cutting device using yag laser for cutting stents and a SYNRAD laser system, used for welding balloons on to a source wire. Released documentation for validation and assemblies for incoming inspection. Developed and implemented Designed 19 inch racks systems to house UPS, computer and Impact controller for motion control. Generated the documentation for hardware validation and qualification, along with all the detail drawing to support the release of products for FDA approval using DOP32.
