Opened, staffed, and managed Aristocrat's Austin development center hosting over 90 employees. Chief Architect and team lead for Aristocrat's Game Development Kit, a development suite hosting all internal and 3rd party content developed since 2012. Technology leaderfor Product Madness, delivering iOS, Android, and Facebook game content to millions of players each day. Growth in leadership roles during this time, scaling from a local team of 25 to a global organization of 350 employees over five years.

Joined Stern Pinball as a passion project to support the technology transition of their pinball hardware platform to a modern, modular system that enabled richer player experiences. Drove the architecture and development of the end-to-end media and video system; an upgrade from the prior low resolution LED display to a modern high definition and lower cost LCD display system. Delivered a tool suite to the art and development organizations enabling rich content development, optimized for the new embedded system.

Responsible for the technology division of HTC's expansion into Seattle, building a new office and organization to drive HTC's transition from a white label mobile phone provider to a worldwide mobile brand. Managed a team of 25 program managers, developers, and quality engineers that delivered breakthrough phone experiences on millions of devices. Partnered with Google to deliver the first Android device to the market, only available from HTC. Delivered software platforms, applications, and experiences on over 35 unique mobile phone and tablet products.

Accountable for architecture and development of the Ultra-Mobile PC initiative through the first two product generations. Responsible for the Origami Experience software designed as the first touch-based user experience for the PC. The UMPC effort drove broad industry engagement with IHVs, ODMs, OEMs, and retailers to bring a new category of highly mobile, low-cost PC form factors to the market. The effort also drove the creation of a new category of Intel processors (Atom) that are the basis for the related netbook and nettop categories.

Responsible for defining and demonstrating new products and platforms that represented Microsoft's consumer product aspirations five to ten years into the future. Initiatives included partnerships with Microsoft Research, product teams, and corporate executives in concept development and delivery.These prototypes and products were staged in a dedicated consumer center and used in trade show vision pieces by Bill Gates, Steve Ballmer, and other corporate executives.

Developed close partnershipswith internal and 3rd party game developers on a collection of Dashboard features that wouldintegrate with their game content. Accountable for building the development tool suites that supported the implementation of the Xbox Dashboard 3D interfaces, and the delivery of over half of the live 3D user interfaces in the Dashboard.
