Singapore

CarbonStory is a social enterprise that enables people to contribute towards reversing the effect of climate change by supporting projects that offset their personal or household carbon footprints. I created and managed a team of NUS students to produce a prototype and the first version of a web app, together with a FB app and Paypal integration. The team also setup a full hosting environment using AWS technologies. Also contributed setting up the social media strategy.

I managed all the digital projects of a small boutique design agency, defining and excecuting online strategies for their SME clients, SEO/SEM, and implememntation CMS, product catalogues, and e-commerce sites. My most recent job was leading a team of designers and developers who implemented spfjeans.com, a promotion mini site for Springfield’s jeans collection, which is linked to the main web shop through a REST API.

I launched and maintained the Spanish version of HP Input/Output (hp.com/es/inputoutput), a technology blog oriented to IT managers. Defined the editorial guidelines together with HP European MD, selected pool of writers and assigned articles. The job also involved social network broadcasting and traffic data analysis.

I opened and managed the European office of this mobile content company. Launched biggest independent mobile content delivery platform in LATAM (bippie.com), implemented cross-platform strategies, set up partnerships with content providers. Company sold to Bungiorno.com (https://bit.ly/3oCHLAk).

I worked both in the London and New York offices of Fortunecity.com. In the UK office I managed the teams that launched the Spanish, French and Dutch versions of this proto-social network. My work involved product management, content and community management, online marketing and SEO. In the New York office I managed the team which integrated V3.com, a redirect site with 4 million users, into Fortunecity.com. I also oversaw the migration from .NET to UNIX, the re-factoring of the redirect site, automated customer support processes, defined SEO strategies and assisted the media sales team.
