As a subsidiary company of Axicom (formerly Crown Castle), I managed the day-to-day business of the property and planning group on a national scale. Operating as an independent business unit, I was tasked to develop the business and consider new opportunities for future growth.Over the next five years, I focused on expanding KAW's service offerings, leveraging on the reputation as one of the country's most recognised property group in the Telecommunications Industry, to one that offers property, planning and project management services in managing design contracts with the parent company. This in turn saw a significant increase in revenue, customer and staff satisfaction and the ability to secure more contracts.

A business that was co-founded by myself and business partner Lisa Hall in 2001. At the time, it tapped into a niche market, being the only property services group to specialise in the Telecommunications Industry in Australia. From 2001 to 2011, the company grew from a two person, one office organisation based in Victoria to a staff of 20 with offices in all major capital cities and offering a full suite of acquisition services. The business was sold to Axicom (formerly Crown Castle) in 2011. Over the last 10 years, the business successfully negotiated thousands of lease agreements across the country for all of the major Carriers and new start ups like Vividwireless (formerly Unwired). During this time, both co-founders jointly oversaw the operations of each of the State offices, as well as being entrenched in the work itself, creating a reputation as the most respected operator in this space.

I managed, oversaw and worked with a dynamic team, which saw us consistently hit our targets for Hutchison Telecom in their foray into the Australian market. In addition, I provided invaluable support to the Project Manager, working closely with the engineering and town planning disciplines.

My foray into the Telecommunication Industry was working on an aggressive Optus program, which at the time were also relatively new to the market. Successfully negotiated over 100 leases a year, as well as, built a team of real estate professionals in delivering a service beyond all expectations.

Serviced a client base of high wealth individuals from Hong Kong, Malaysia and Taiwan. Prepared marketing information on various commercial offerings within the Melbourne CBD and undertook a number of off-market transactions with the Director of Sales.

Managed a portfolio of buildings for a number of privately owned companies in Melbourne; responsible for the day-to-day management of each asset, including management of all service contracts, tenant engagement, lease negotiations, undertaking rent reviews, maintenance scheduling and preparation of budgets.
