Major Rotation: Pediatric Inpatient Consultation-Liaison• Provided consultation-liaison services for youth ages 0-21 years old and their families medically hospitalized presenting with psychological sequelae associated with medical conditions such as mood/anxiety, coping, adjustment to new diagnosis or hospitalization, adherence, challenging behaviors, nonpharmacological pain management, acute stress symptoms, pill swallow training, and parent support.• Coordinated interdisciplinary care with medical teams, participate in multidisciplinary rounds, and attend individual patient care conferences.• Received referrals primarily from NICU, Hematology/Oncology, Endocrinology, Cardiology, Neurology, Orthopedics, Surgery, Family Medicine, and Transplant.Minor Rotation: Adult Solid Organ Transplant• Conducted psychological evaluations for adults either considering living donation or undergoing pre-transplant evaluation for lung, heart, kidney, liver, and/or pancreas transplant.• Provided consultation-liaison services for adults medically hospitalized presenting with psychological sequelae post-transplant such as mood/anxiety, coping, adjustment to hospitalization, adherence, and nonpharmacological pain management.• Participated in multidisciplinary organ selection committee meetings.
