I am an Integrative Child Psychotherapist registered with the United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP), working with children and adolescents. I offer psychotherapy, counselling, arts and play therapy alongside training for families and professionals. I have a private practice in Oving, Chichester, West Sussex and I work in education, health and other settings covering Sussex, Surrey and Hampshire.Services include:- short, mid and long term individual psychotherapy with children and adolescents, counselling, art and play therapy.Psychotherapy can help with common concerns such as tantrums, anger outbursts, hyperactive behaviour, bedtime routines, or problems at school such as with attendance, learning and friendships. It can also help with more complex issues such as loss, trauma, neglect, post-traumatic stress, depression, eating and anxiety disorders or self-harm. I have experience in all educational settings - nurseries, schools, colleges (including mainstream, special needs, local authority and privately funded).I work alongside other professionals including teachers, social workers, psychologists and psychiatrists. I completed my psychiatric placement at the Orchard Centre, Southampton General Hospital. Referrals can be taken directly from families or through other agencies such as schools, local authorities and medical practices.In addition to working as therapist, I have also undertaken roles as a group supervisor; tutor and examiner on child counselling courses.
