Victoria E. Díaz is an economist, policy analyst and post-secondary education expert with approximately twenty years of professional experience. Prior to establishing DPM, she was Director of Institutional Research and Planning at the University of Ottawa, was employed as senior economist by the Ontario government and the Ontario SuperBuild Corporation, and consulted with a non-profit environment-focused consulting firm associated with the University of Costa Rica. This wide range of experience spans a broad and diverse number of fields, including post-secondary education, health, science and technology, infrastructure and natural resources. Having been trained in both qualitative (PhD, Public Administration, University of Ottawa) and quantitative methods (MA, Economics, McGill University) she is fond of eclectic and versatile approaches to research and policy development. She learned to pack light at a very young age, and can be found teaching or doing field work abroad, as well as enjoying the quiet pace of the Ottawa-Gatineau region and its biking and hiking trails. Victoria is fluent in English, French and Spanish.
