As a Graduate Assistant within Special Populations under New Student Programs, I managed events and initiatives designed to support first-generation, minority, and high-financial-need undergraduate students. Reporting to the Associate Director, I organized and promoted monthly events for approximately 50 students to connect them with academic resources, peer support, and faculty mentorship opportunities.I also provided mentorship to the Greer Scholars, a group of STEM undergraduates, with navigating academic and career challenges. I advised students in areas such as campus engagement, academic planning, and graduate school preparation, while proactively connecting them with paid work and research opportunities.
