Growing up, my favorite thing to do was watch Chicago Cubs baseball with my dad. I loved it so much that I originally wanted to be a data analyst for MLB, but something about debits and credits wisped me away into the accounting world. All it took was one accounting class for me to realize that it was what I was meant to do. My “What am I going to do with my life” equation has seemed to finally balance. Behind the numbers, I love to read and still watch a lot of Cubs games in my free time. I also enjoy hiking and playing a little intramural softball. Something a lot of people wouldn’t expect is that I am quite the pool shark.Switching to accounting one of the best decisions I’ve made for myself.
