Managed and supported a number of task orders under FEMA IDIQ contract including: Mitigation Planning Assistance, City of Roseville, CA; Developed and facilitated Hazard Mitigation Grant Management Course, Richmond, VA, FEMA Region III; Pre-Disaster Mitigation Assistance for Repetitive Loss Properties, FEMA Region IV; Substantial Damage/Substantial Improvement Desk Reference; National Flood Mitigation Data Collection Tool; Rapid Response Technical Assistance, Hurricanes Dennis, Katrina and Rita.Responsible for business development and marketing. Procured and managed the following projects: Hazard Mitigation Plan Update, Citrus County, FL; Hazard Mitigation Plan, Calvert County, MD; HMGP Application Development, Palm Beach County, FL, South Florida Water Management District.

Managed and supported the research, writing, and development of a number of FEMA publications under and IDIQ task order including Rebuilding for a More Sustainable Future, Disaster Mitigation Act of 2000 Plan Review Guidance, and Hazard Mitigation Planning “How To” Guides. Also supported the development of an Integrated Emergency Management Plan for the United States Postal Services.Worked with nine local communities and tribes in New Mexico, including Los Alamos County, Santa Fe City/County, Sandoval County, Rio Arriba County, City of Española, Santa Clara Pueblo, San Ildefonso Pueblo, San Juan Pueblo and Pojoaque Pueblo, to create all-hazard mitigation plans in conformance with the Cerro Grande Fire Assistance Act and the DMA 2000.Project Manager for a number of local emergency management plans including: Tornado After-Action Report, Charles County, MD; Terrorism Annex to the Emergency Operations Plan, Calvert County, MD; and Local Capability Assessment for Readiness, City of Newport News, VA.

Coordinated and participated on the State Hazard Mitigation Planning Team, Mitigation Action Team and Governor’s Inter-agency Mitigation Task Force to Reduce Flooding in western Maryland. Performed in various functions during emergency activation of the State Emergency Operations Center, including damage assessments, staffing disaster recovery centers, and developing applicants briefing materials. Managed the HMGP, Flood Mitigation Assistance Program and Project Impact Initiative.
