In my year working for KSG I have further developed my problem-solving and organisation skills and added data maintenance and customer service to the list. My knowledge of the company allowed me to not only be a translator but a mediator and enabled me to propose meaningful solutions. I highly enjoyed being a team player and training new employees as well as helping them settle in. Working as a Barista at Espressohouse taught me the value of efficient teamwork when it comes to working under pressure. It was great fun to learn and adjust routines, whether it was a permanent adjustment or a short-termed one to benefit the workflow. I got to gain knowledge on how routine benefits the workflow as well as gaining a general perspective of the demands of the catering industry. I especially appreciated that my efforts and time were greatly valued.
