I went back to college after raising a family, therefore I was a non-traditional student. While I may be a beginner in the nursing profession, my people skills and work ethic are outstanding. As a military spouse and mother I dedicated my time to family and serving my community as a volunteer. At other times as needed I would work outside the home. I have been an American Red Cross volunteer and a lactation speciality with the WIC program. I was assistant to the office manager at Arizona Republic newpaper circulation department. During my last semester in nursing school I worked with home health and hospice as a CNA.
